Dr. Stacie Boswell began working in equine veterinary medicine over 10 years ago with The Piedmont Equine Practice in Northern Virginia. She graduated from veterinary school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Thereafter, she completed an equine medical and surgical internship at North Carolina State University, and then worked as a post-doctoral orthopedic research associate at Cornell. Most recently, she completed three-years of specialty training in a large animal surgery residency at the University of Tennessee. During her residency, she scrubbed in to surgeries on Budweiser Clydesdales and Kentucky Derby runners. She also became proficient working with small ruminants and camelids. Dr. Boswell grew up in Southeastern New Mexico and is excited about returning to the Southwest.  In her personal time, she raises colts and trail rides and camps with her husband, Sid.  She can be reached at stacie@stacieboswell.com
